What other NRCoP resources are available? (NRCoP events and resources)?
The National Regulators Community of Practice (NRCoP) is an active network of over 6500 public sector regulators from all levels of government, regulatory sectors, professional backgrounds, roles, and levels of seniority, who are keen to learn from and with each other.
The NRCoP offers free and open access to thought-provoking, inspiring learning events in each chapter, both online and in-person, providing opportunities for regulators to connect with each other and learn together. These events include webinars, the Annual Forum, facilitated conversations, local chapter networking opportunities, and more.

How do I access Seminars?
Online modules 1 to 3 (inclusive) need to be completed before participants can register for live Seminars 1, 2 and 3. Online modules 4-6 inclusive need to be complete before participants can register for live Seminars 4, 5 and 6.
Seminars are elective – we recommend that participants enrol in the live seminar series, but participants can complete the course without participating in the seminar program (or all the seminars).
The seminar series will be repeated several times per year. This provides you with the flexibility to attend seminars at a time that suits your busy schedules. We will ensure that there are enough time slots available for all those who want to participate in a live seminar, within the 12 month period that the enrolment in the program is valid. -
Why am I not receiving emails for my access?
Sometimes emails are sent to your Junk email box or are blocked by your employer.
Please check your junk email folder. The emails which initially provided your login and enrolment details would have come as a push notification emails straight from The Professional Regulator’s Learning Management System (LMS) “Thinkific”.
If you did not receive it, security filters from your organisation may have blocked it. So, please ask your IT team to add [email protected] (and [email protected]) to your safe senders list. This will ensure future emails can come through. -
How much does The Professional Regulator course cost?
The course costs $750 + $75 GST for regulators who work in an organisation that is a corporate member of NRCoP. All other regulators are still able to enrol in the course at a cost of $2,250 + $225 GST. This represents great value for money.

How have participants enjoyed the course?
An inaugural group of participants have completed an evaluation of the course and found that the Professional Regulator Foundation course was informative, relevant and helpful in their roles as regulators. A copy of the inaugural evaluation report can be accessed here and the evaluation of open access participants can be found here.

How do I get my badge?
Upon successful completion of the six modules and their associated quizzes, you will be awarded a badge credential via email.
This badge credential is tied to the completion of the modules, with seminar attendance and participation having no bearing on the course completion status.
We are actively working on implementing a system to upload badges directly to your portal. Once this feature is operational, we will notify you accordingly.
For additional support in uploading your badges to various platforms, please refer to the following link: Digital Badging Videos. This library contains helpful videos to guide you through the process.
If you have completed the course but not yet received your badge, make sure you have completed all 6 modules and the 6 associated quizzes. If you have viewed all modules, the portal may display it as 100% viewed, but necessarily 100% completed. Hence, please make sure you go back into the modules to check if you have completed all of them and the quizzes.
If you have completed all 6 modules and quizzes, and not yet received your badge, please reach out to us at [email protected], and we will promptly assist you. Additionally, we recommend checking your spam and junk mail folders.
